Grab your fishing pole and join us for the Virtual Youth Fishing Derby! Head out to Brushy Creek (trailhead at Freeman Park), Meadow Lake or Bright Lake at Old Settlers Park beginning Friday, May 8th through Monday, May 11th and start catching fish. Snap a picture of your best catch and share it with us! Trophies will be awarded to the best catch in each age group and overall
Fishing is allowed at Brushy Creek, Meadow Lake and/or Bright Lake at Old Settlers Park ONLY. Along with your picture, please email us confirmation of your fishing location. Participants must fish at one of these locations to be eligible for a trophy. Please do not keep the fish you catch; this is a catch and release derby. Participants must be between the ages of 3-12 years. Adults cannot assist in catching fish. Photos will be reviewed and winners will be announced via the Parks and Rec Facebook page on Tuesday, May 12th.
Email your pictures and confirmation of your fishing location (Picture of park location) to Brook Collins at bcollins@roundrocktexas.gov to be eligible for a trophy. No registration is required for this event. We are looking forward to seeing your amazing photos!
