BIG & GLOWING holiday cheer coming back to Round Rock for 3 amazing nights in December! Join us for the annual Light Up the Lake, a FREE NEW 3-day holiday festival around the lake and festival area at Old Settlers Park on Thursday, December 2Friday, December 3 and Saturday, December 4 starting at 6:00pm (Lighting of the lake lights will occur at 6:30pm)

The event will feature SPECTACULAR giant balloons hovering over Bright Lake, amazing light show, LIVE music, holiday displays, holiday food and refreshments, crafts, family activities, yule log and more!

*Admission to the event, concert and most activities are FREE. Food vendors, and the Texas Winter Park include attractions and items that are for a paid fee.

While the world is full of people in need year-round, no time is that more apparent than during the holiday season. “Light Up the Lake” will have three areas within the festival grounds for participants’ who would like to give for those in need. The following donation areas include,

Round Rock Operation Blue Santa located in the “Spirit of the Holiday’s” area. They will be taking donations for new unwrapped toys. Don’t forget about the older kids as gifts for all ages are encouraged. Blue Santa is Dedicated to positively impacting the lives of Round Rock children and families during the holiday season.

Play For All Foundation located in the “North Pole” area. They will be accepting cash donations. The foundations mission is to provide a safe, fun place to play and develop new skills for children of all abilities. The Play for All Abilities Park will serve the more than 100,000 children of Williamson County with an estimated 7,945 children with a disability.

People & Parks Foundation located in the “Holidays Over Yonder” area. They will be accepting cash donations.  The People & Parks Fund partners with the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation to enhance people’s lives by making our public parks, trails, and green spaces better through volunteerism, innovative programming, advocacy, and community financial support.

Live music entertainment includes London Calling on Thursday, December 2, and Friday, December 3 will feature Taylor Red. Saturdays artist will be announced soon.
